When we moved to Colorado over 2 years ago, my kids instantly spotted Boondocks family fun centerfollow, in northglenn, Colorado, from the highway! They bugged, and bugged me until we decided to visit one day. We went on a weekday and just played in the huge arcade and you would have thought my boys were at disney world!
We have went a couple more times since then and recently they invited me back to do a review on our experience. Recently they remodeled part of the place into a state of the art bowling alley. I am from a small town in Louisiana where you still have to add up your own score! Boondocks has a fully automated scoring system…if your kids need bumpers they appear only during their turn and not everyone else’s….it’s super clean and my kids absolutely would go bowling there every night!
After we bowled we also played a round of mini golf. My kids were so excited they literally ran through the whole course. It had to be a record of how fast we played the course because they were just having so much fun.
They also have go karts, and huge indoor kids play area, bumper boats (seasonal) mini go karts and laser tag!
It is a great place for birthday parties or just a family night out.
I will have to say, we went on a friday night and my first thought it was going to be teenage overload. Not that, that is a bad thing, but with my 3 small ones, sometimes it can get stressful when there are a ton of high energy kids that are a lot older than mine.
The place was super crowded but the staff and everyone there was super nice, not overwhelming at all and it was a great atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back!
